Rain, snow and a very wintry trip to the Cotswolds

We woke up to this on the second day but it got much heavier!

The Ebrington Arms, lovely village pub with exceptional food

In my wisdom I said...Let's go to the Cotswolds before the Easter rush, and I also wanted a break before two members of my family have operations this month as from next week on I will be in Florence Nightingale mode! It rained, freezing cold droplets coming down sideways on the first day, though we managed to go to Broadway and had a wonderful lunch beside a roaring log fire at the Ebrington Arms, just outside Chipping Campden,  a pub I would thoroughly reccommend for it's delicous home made food and lovely welcome. We stayed in a gorgeous Regency house in the High Street in Chipping Campden, one of the only two of that date in the whole town. Beautifully spacious and warm it was so convenient but quiet and calm. Then overnight it snowed, and I hate driving in the snow or even walking in it for that matter! So it sort of stopped us doing a lot of things we wanted to as driving was so dangerous, anyhow we enjoyed ourselves but I couldn't get the photos I was looking forward to taking but here are the ones I managed to get. .
We stayed in  Amberley House which is the one of the two white Regency houses in this photo
