Baby Bee!

Last Christmas I bought Jessica my Granddaughter a little Bumble Bee outfit thinking that I would take some arty photos of her when she grew into it. Well she had other thoughts and was having none of it lol! She hates anything on her head, hates being dressed up, so after chasing her around to try and get a few good shots  here are a couple that I managed to get. What a complete blessing Grandchildren are, they bring so much joy into your life and watching them grow and develop is a complete miracle. Even if at only one year old they roll their eyes at you already, signs of things to come lol!

Flashback Friday - Veruschka

My favoutie model of all time is the astounding Veruschka! I met her once in the 60s and from then on no other model could compare to her magical beauty and bearing. A six footer like myself she was a wonderful role model to a young teenager. A woman I could look in the eye...wonder of wonders! Do you have a favourite model? I would love to hear who and why? Flea market pretties!

I found these lovely porcelain fans at a flea market, I had already sent one to my dear friend Paulette as she is all about everything Marie Antoinette and low and behold another four came to light! So they will find their way to the States in due course. Also the beautiful little tea light holders from Italy were a market find all for £4! So I thought I would make a little arrangement of them. The sweet jug with the Easter bunny on it was the first gift my dear late second Mum bought me twenty two years ago and it was an Easter present and I love and treasure it. Janet passed away one year ago on 22nd April, it was a Good Friday, she always did do things in style! I miss her so much and will never forget her. For you darling Jan, who loved pretty things!
