Pickle and Bella

My little Pickle of a granddaughter now has a little sister Isabella! I am such a proud nanny, two beautiful little girls to love and spoil. It was my birthday last wednesday and I spent the day with them, Pickle is adorable and she actually kept still for almost two hours, a cold box full of water is the secret! And Bella slept the day away. My son Piers cooked on the barbeque for us which was delicious as usual and I was thoroughly spoilt. Thank you everyone for making my day so special.

Look what arrived in the post today.......

A stunning hand made flower brooch/hair clip from the extremely talented Flora Fascinata, totally unexpected it arrived today from Australia, when I opened the parcel the contents blew me away.....just looks at this....

Everyone knows my love of Bees, and here is a beauty, a fabulous turquoise Bee brooch on black ribbon and it matches perfectly this unbelievably exciting, always wanted one, Roman soldiers ring..........

Flora told me about this ring, she has had it a long time and........she has so generously given it to me!!!! I can't stop looking at it, just imagine, a Roman soldier wore it!! I keep touching it to try and feel the vibes of the person who once owened it hundreds and hundreds of years ago. I am thrilled beyond words. Talking of words look at this.......
