It will soon be my birthday AGAIN! The year so far has just flown by and it seems to go faster the older you get. There honestly isn't much I want or need but I have had two wonderful early presents this year, a long weekend away in the Cotswolds, in a 1600's house, heaven! I adore the Cotswolds and this time the stay is in Bourton on the Water. The house is one of the oldest in the village so I will be in my element especially sleeping in the antique four poster! The second arrived in a Fortnum & Mason box, I am always excited to get one of those as it's my favourite shop ever, the last bastion of Englishness! Inside a coveted bottle of White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum, the fragrance Kate wore on her wedding day when she married Prince William, a special edition bottle only at Fortnums. Well, I was thrilled as I have wanted to try it for ages, Gardenia is one of my favs, a gentle white flower boquet, lovely powdery dry down. Gorgeous!

Hank Hendricks has been a student at the University of New Hampshire- Whittmore School of Business and Economics.
